how boring

how boring! Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Chloe, Giorgio Armani, Valentino, ...!
Yesterday I was looking for an interior design magazine in a bunch of my mothers collection when I bumped into this. I didn't believe it when I saw the cover of the German Vogue (september). A woman tattooed with labels and the headline let's shop! Didn't these people learn anything from what fashion is trying to become in the last couple of years. Do they still believe that only the brand is what counts to make a woman become fashionable?!
I believe in the oppisit. I'm not saying I dislike expensive, old fashioned and popular brands but isn't it boring to only talk about them and not being interested in what is happening in the newcomer scene?
It seems as if they don't even bother writing about anything else because of being scared to loose the readers. Where is the courage? Especially courage is one of the most important things fashion needs for changing all the time. The weired thing is that even Vogue had an article about fashion blogs, praising their bravery and saying how important those people are. Important in the way of showing the world what one can wear without following the rules of what's IN and OUT! So dear Vogue, do it. Don't fall asleep and get some fresh air. Thank you!
