dracula

I totally had a crush on this necklace when I saw it at "CLOSED" in Hamburg. It ended up being all wrapped IN my hands ON my 20th birthday! THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE! It is designed by ELEY KISHIMOTO.

Herr von Eden

I was hitting the streets with my friend Sophie who is a 18 year old photographer from Hamburg. She was mainly taking photos of the scenery so it really is worth taking a look at http://spencephotography.tumblr.com/.
I also warmly recommend to visit the shop for malefashion HERR VON EDEN. It is located in the heart of Hamburg in the "Karolienviertel". One could describe the style as very british. British chic, classic and precisely made to measure every individual on the one hand but on the other interesting and different in it's details. http://www.herrvoneden.com/site/

out and about in the sun

I love Hamburg. I really do! Although I do complain almost every day saying how annoying it can be. But there is the river in front of my house, sand, huge containerships floating in and out. There is all sorts of different places like the very famous Reeperbahn, looking totally fucked up compared to the western part of Hamburg being very wealthy and neat. But than again there is St. Georg being known for having many gay people living there. So last weekend I was thinking about not only going to London for taking photos of interesting people but hit the streets in my sourrunding! I did so and unfortunately not too much came out. Hamburg has a big potential for being very creative but there IS a difference between i.e. Berlin/London where people dont seem to be thinking of having to "dress to impress" but to wear what they ARE like. Going through the streets one would not call everyone stylish or up to date BUT interesting. Like most people are not scared of looking totally different and I am not talking about fabric bags, skinny jeans and a hair cut with both sides being shaved off as well as used and old leatherboots. I hate using the word "Indie" but it is the best way of explaining what lots of people in Hamburg look like! It's NICE but luckely there were better "objects" for my camera.

garden in the winter

It looks as if spring is around the corner just waiting for us to dress like it. Spring in Hamburg is not the wormest but still an opportunity to wear short sleeved jumpers, overalls with no socks and all the other things which had to wait for a long time, making me sigh everytime I opened my wardrobe when there was snow outstide.
